The portal din.md is a website developed in the Republic of Moldova and it is targeted on the citizens of Moldova leaving for foreign countries to either work, study or live permanently.
The platform din.md has two basic objectives: information of citizens from abroad on the public services, initiatives and events provided for them, as well as communication by creating a virtual community.
The diaspora portal was created with the purpose to unite the Moldovans in a virtual community, to enable them to maintain a good connection with the Republic of Moldova using for that a single communication instrument. They will have the opportunity using this platform to share their foreign experience, ideas and expertise from the areas of their activity.
The members of diaspora will use the platform for finding one another to talk about common culture, using it inclusively as a forum for identifying problems, common needs and solutions. The portal also includes modules with useful information for diaspora members, divided by themes according to the necessities and areas of interest.
